Politicians are still too afraid of optics, they don’t want to be on record as voting against taking down revenge porn. Too many of these bills are written with a good-sounding premise but the details are where they get you.

I know people are overwhelmed and or ignorant, but it seems like the locality that runs this bridge could do more to help lost people not make this mistake. Like maybe a pre checkpoint that stops people and ask them are you trying to go to Canada and do you have the proper documentation? If not just let them U turn.

All other issues with this aside, what a collosal waste of money. Spending billions of dollars to remove millions of people from productive jobs and these people likely pay billions in taxes until they get detained and deported. Spending billions to lose trillions in future revenue.

Congress should have something to say about this. They used to control spending as recently as 4 months ago.

Your experience is like mine. I feel like all the conservatives that hate immigrants have never really hung out with them. Yes their cultures can be different but they are neat cultures. There are good and bad immigrants just like any other group of humans but they are overwhelmingly good on average.
