The Equality Act was introduced in 1974, only 10 years after the civil rights act, which it sought to amend.

In the 8 legislative sessions where democrats have held a trifecta since the act’s introduction, they have not attempted to pass it (instead, favoring stripped down versions that often have many LGBT+ protections removed if a bill has been introduced at all). Every time it has lost the vote or died in committee. And now here we are, less than a week after Trump has moved to nuke the way that the CRA is enforced. So… if both succeed we are actually further from the goal.

But there have been some gaps that link the two things (linking Koch to Thiel on certain things, for instance) that I have assumed were merely gaps due to one party or the other doing better at hiding their involvement. I’ll have to bear what you said in mind as I continue to figure stuff out.

The Koch brothers already have a new U.S. constitution drafted and a majority of the states they need to call a constitutional convention. They’ve had plans in motion for years.

I think Trump and Musk were always supposed to be the fall guys. But if they break enough, or reveal enough non-working about the current system, the plan we’re not supposed to realize is in play will succeed.

Trying to arrest him at his pre-hearing to rendition him is fucking wrong. And trying to punish the judge for trying to block that miscarriage of justice from happening is doubly so.

No, because there isn’t a single IP range or user agent, and many developers are going to lengths to defeat anti-scraping measures, which include user agent spoofing as well as vpns and the like to mask the source of the traffic.

It helps because just like all the things Reagan destroyed, the American people will never be able to get those things back. And if the government can close or sell facilities by the time sane policies prevail again (if they ever do), then it still benefits ‘them’, because the government can’t just create land and buildings from nothing. The only places they would be able to do that are new towns and rural areas. (White flight areas and conservative areas) So, you know, destroyed government services can’t even be reliably recreated in population-dense areas. (Cities - liberal areas)

There’s basically a plane of signal that bisects the house where the RSSI of each AP is the same. It intersects with areas where people commonly are on their phones. Depending on humidity, location of people and pets, or even just dumb luck, devices were just bouncing between the AP’s, fishing for whichever had the stronger signal. Dropping the power levels made it so the overlap between the AP’s was less, and adjusting the RSSI at which the AP would hand off clients upward made it so handoffs were less frequent. Small throughput sacrifice in the transition zone, but without the constant bouncing between AP’s (which has no throughput).

I saw your other comment about 8’s, too, and I’ve always found those to be a pain, so I reverse them, if not outright convert them to arithmetic problems. 8x4 is some unknown value, but X*8 is always X*10-2X, although do have most of the multiplication tables memorized for lower values.
8*7 is an unknown number that only the wisest sages can compute, however.

I just had a messed up thought. Maybe the talk of Trump having a ‘revenge tour’ isn’t revenge on individual people, but revenge on the entire country for not electing him in 2020.
