It will need to have a screen to comply with safety standards. A back up camera is mandatory.
The Citroen Ami is a “cycle car” under French law and doesn’t have to meet the same standards.
It is a legal requirement now to have back up cameras. This thing also doesn’t have any airbags, or seatbelts in the back when converted. There is nothing connected to the HVAC controls, you would need a heater box. They haven’t even bothered with a plywood mock interrior is all just 3D printed garbage, literally falling apart in the reviewers hands.
The Chinese have tried this approach for low volume projects with a space frame and bonded plastic and carbon fibre panels, but its just too labour intensive to be practical for any sort of volume. The space frame still has to be painted, so you don’t save any money in a painting setup.

They would have lost hundreds of milliions if it weren’t for carbon credits, which have now been removed.
Apparently its based on the field rotations in the motor or something, remember this is a fixed gear vehicle. I don’t think ICE cars use a gear either anymore, its based on the crankshaft sensor for the EFI, multipled by a gear ratio figure in the ECU. Even pushbikes don’t have gear sensors for speedo reading, they count magnetic fluctuations in the rim.
I like how people think this or the sabotaging of social secuity will lead to privatisation.
Yeah they could do that - but they are not. There aren’t any plans, secretive or otherwise. they are just wrecking things and leaving nothing behind.
The Replublican party is opposed to social security - private or public. They want you to work until you die. They have literally said this repeatedly for 100 years, what is there not to get ?
In fact I believe the odometer reading is calculated from the electricty consumption, not from a meter in the gearbox. So if the range reading is inaccurate (and they are) it would throw out the mileage as well.
Should be super easy to prove too… Take an assortment of Teslas to a 1 mile stretch of road, drive it up and down 20 times, measure the mileage before and after.
Not necessarily, the incorrect readings may only occur at certain speeds or conditions.
The bigger deal is that this immunity protection does not extend to the President’s minions and officials.
Not directly, but any employee or agent has no liability if they are following legal orders of their employer. So no - they cannot be prosecuted either.
They said it was to be determined by a lower court. It was sent back to a lower court and Trump was convicted. But the judge ruled that no penalty should be applied because of the SCOTUS ruling on presidential immmunity and it was up to the DOJ to prosecute. The DOJ is under direct presidential control and by then Trump was in power.
SCOTUS could have prosecuted Trump directly, but as always, they deliberately slow walked it so the case would disappear. Which is exactly what they are going to do with all the current cases.
Actually the Nazis identified autism and they were given jobs in intelligence.
Trump cannot change tariffs either but there you are.
Trump can issue an excecutive order and have them executed.
remember - SCOTUS has ruled he is immune from prosecution.
…and was ruled by SCOTUS to be immune to prosecution for some undetermined “official acts”. And when he was convicted the judge ruled no penalty should be applied because SCOTUS had ruled he was immune to prosecution.
Trump was convicted of that but the judge ruled there should be no penalty.
The administration will just apply for an appeal to the decision - 6 months - then if it is approved it goes to a one man Supreme Court ruling (18 months), then they appeal again (12 months) and it goes to the full bench (24 months) who will declare its now outside the scope of action.
More like the Cheka in the Soviet Union that just kidnapped anyone they found on the street to meet a quota.
A GWM Ora is about the equivalent of US$20K in Australia (no subsidies). So its doable.
