I don’t have anything empirical, but my hunch is that controlling for those factors, conservatives still don’t live as long. Things like their ideas of masculinity affecting their willingness to believe a risk is real, or willingness to believe in science based medical treatment.
Here in Texas life expectancy drops about a half a year per county away from a large city. With the people furthest away living about 5 years less than in Houston or Dallas.
