Good advice, thanks
Good advice, thanks
Is it not already that way? Browsing around on (pick any contender) is mostly just b-rate shit to me anyway.
Don’t lump us in with boomers. That’s just bad manners.
Could you share some more information about this if you don’t mind?
Piefed maybe?
Thanks for the reassurance, I appreciate that
I switched from pop os to Fedora a while back. I did like pop, but it gave me problems regularly and I think it just needs to cook for a few more years probably. Fedora fixed every issue I was having 👍
Seeing all the arch praise here is definitely giving me distro fomo though. Lol
Not sure, I just know their guidelines are supposed to be more strict in general.
Most people will likely agree that 13 is too young, but it kind of depends on her maturity level too. I had unfettered internet access from about that age and I don’t think it messed me up too bad… Lol.
Anyway, I don’t really think there’s many instances, if any, geared towards younger audiences. Maybe Beehaw would be a tamer one to look at?
I tend to agree. I think that even though it might seem a little harsh, it’s also pretty important to be brutally honest and realistic about things like this. Maybe consider sending this feedback to the developers (in a constructive way, of course).
edit:
I wanted to add that I think the name ‘Friendica’ is a really good one, and I like what they have going on. I have heard good things about it in general, despite the dated design/style elements.
I suppose those are some valid reservations. I just think they’d be for different use cases anyway.
What would make you excited for something like this?
You don’t think with the proper specs that it could behave much more akin to a modern laptop? Not to overhype or anything, but it feels like people have been waiting on something like this for a long time.
more than likely, yes. I’d be much more inclined to compared to a movie, for instance.
convergence!
You guys have always been excellent. As others have stated, no need to worry.
I’ll be giving piefed some love in the meantime 👍
Yes, and I didn’t mean to make it seem like I was in support of implementing AI either. It’s probably going to continue to get worse as a result.
