Any platform that allows Nazi speech is a Nazi platform, but not everyone on a Nazi platform is a Nazi. Social media grows and shrinks according to the network effect… Twitter will only completely die once another micro blogging platform becomes the default. We’ve seen it play out over and over

There’s a lot of people still on Twitter for a simple reason that has nothing to do with Musk… Getting a population to relocate is hard. That’s where they were before the takeover, that’s where all types of public figures have to be to reach followers, and so that’s where people go to interact with them

It’s going to be a slow decline as alternatives slowly grow to critical mass, and eventually the dead platform will no longer be the place with the biggest reach to most intended audiences

Judging by how the people in power seem to like badly implementing ideas from cautionary sci-fi books, here’s my guess:

They’re probably using a point system. If you have an immigration hearing, a million points. If they find your name on a visa (not even necessarily you), that’s 20 points. If they find your name on an arrest record, that’s 10 points. If they find your name on any immigration court records, that’s 10 points

Then they sort the list, send ICE after people with the highest scores, and are slowly emailing their way down the list to anyone with like 50 points or more

After almost a week, the guy who escaped NYC cleanly (while leaving a backpack full of monopoly money in central park and signed bullet casings at the scene) is carrying around a signed confession and the murder weapon at McDonald’s?

There’s literally no other evidence than what they allegedly found on his person. The guy doesn’t look that much like the person/people in the videos, the way they found him (an old man reporting to a cashier that a person with only their eyes visible looked like the shooter from the security cams) is sketchy as hell, and the evidence is straight up out of a police wet dream about the perfect arrest

This guy deserves a trial, like everyone does. The state apparently has no case against him at this point too

So why does every conversation start with assuming he did it?
