And hacking our companies, stealing their trade secrets
FlixTrain in Germany is much cheaper. Reliability is still the issue but at least I feel like I get what I pay for, contrary to DB
… offering no further details about the charges she faces or the expected duration of her exit ban.

I would rather see trains getting cheaper than planes getting more expensive though
He became a pope only last month
What’s the issue with just using an adblocker? You cost them money to serve your queries but don’t make them any money provided you just browse and do not comment/post/vote
Came here after my niche small Reddit client got officially shut down. When the API changes were announced, I knew that I’d rather switch than use their official Reddit client. I didn’t like that they charge AI companies for accessing my data and I don’t get any share of their profit neither. Here on Lemmy everyone can train their AI models on our data but at least there’s no random dude (spez) who profits off that.
The decentralization meaning that I can choose some random small instance and not be bound to the admins of any big one was another big point for Lemmy
You just don’t get a visa if you don’t have 250 bucks. Actually, you need a proof of funds to apply for the visa anyways
You are talking about the Minsister of Foreign affairs, not the PM. And the exact quote is “We [Polish government] need to stop giving head to USA”
The headline is misleading.
You’ve said that “They could [do X], if it ends the conflict with China and prevents war”. While they aren’t the ones to fuel the conflict with China and it’s China who can prevent the war. Taiwan doesn’t want to go to war with China, so implying that they could do something to end the conflict which is one-sided is blaming them for China’s imperialistic ambitions
Blaming Taiwan for not fixing the “conflict”
Oh, there’s no need for that, I got my comment removed at worldnews@lemmy.ml (why is this always ml, hmmm) after saying that Taiwan is a good functioning democracy and that they like their freedoms, so maybe China shouldn’t invade 😀
Yep. I just don’t think victim-blaming is a right thing to say in this case; it’s not Taiwan threatening China but China threatening Taiwan
China also could just stop threatening Taiwan with invasion, that would also end the conflict with China and prevent war
I’ve been to Spain and can confirm they speak Mexican there
Happy cake day!
