At work we have these phones that sit plugged in all day and run stuff. I got tired of having 6 phones scattered on my desk and wanted to organize them. So I designed and printed this little tower for them.

Each level is stackable so you can make it as tall as you want. The phones sit in little trays that make it easy for them to slide in and out. And on the side there’s fans to blow air over the phones and keep them cool. I recently added air filters but apparently I didn’t take any pictures of it yet.

Until Covid one of my co workers was a travel agent. It’s a not insignificant field. People still want to plan their trip and need some advice and would rather pay someone who knows their shit vs digging through the internet.

Yeah it’s not the greatest UI. It’s in its “resting” state like in a car, but it makes it look like it’s so far left it’s off the charts. They should just not have the needle until you vote.

I personally don’t want a tablet with me everywhere so I don’t want them. But that said I’m not at all worried about the screens durability. Foldable phones aren’t new at this point, they’ve worked the kinks out 🥁 Only long long term (10+ years) durability is my concern. I like playing with old devices and I’m sure they won’t age well in that regard.

The same thing applies to houses and many other large purchases. Also most states that offer a trade in discount also let you sell the car private party (or to another dealer) and claim it on your taxes. You just have to file more paperwork vs the dealer figuring that out for you.

Is it more confusing than dealing with splitscreen/dual screen android? Two distinct devices sounds easier to me honestly.

On my iPhone 15 pro using the windows 11 phone link will cause my phone to stop connecting to other devices.

Basically set up phone link so it can send notifications to the PC, and use it for a bit. After that shut down (or just walk away) from the PC and try to connect to a Bluetooth device (AirPods for example). Most of the time it won’t work. My AirPods for example will get stuck connecting. I haven’t found the exact rhyme or reason of when it does work. But usually when it’s broken turning Bluetooth off and back on again (in system settings) fixes it.
