Well, boy howdy!
Well, boy howdy!
One way to measure success as an adult can be how much spare money you have and how much spare time your job gives you. In the last few years I have finally gotten into a position where I can afford to pursue some extra hobbies, buy the latest video game, and take the occasional vacation. I feel like I finally am at the place where I wanted to be as a child, but it’s even cooler because I can drink and make my own decisions.
Thank you for the perspective and positivity.
Because I have a strong connection to the areas I’ve grown up in and I simply have moved too many times in my life. I have finally put down some sort of roots and started to build something to be proud of. I’m not leaving.
Fuck that, I’m not going to let a born-rich-bottom-boy and a fucking wannabe Dr. Evil kick me out of my country.
Honestly the whole “if there’s no god then how do you know right from wrong” argument is astounding to me, I don’t know how someone can say that with a straight face.
It helps to think of yourself in a third person sense, and think of your third person self as a good friend whose emotions and desires you try to anticipate and satisfy. Then you can extend a little bit of that to other people.
