It’s true that there’s some usefulness in recollection, but geez I find myself digging through my browser history and being absolutely lost… whether it’s an article, video, online store product, anything. Then I usually just re-search for whatever it was from scratch 🤷♂️
Yeah, plus the assist feature shuts itself off when it can’t be used (ie. driving into the sun) unlike Tesla’s version that instead chooses to ram you into a building then blames you for it by disengaging 0.1 seconds before the collision.
I used to watch movies and shows on my computer monitor, in which case 720 was mostly acceptable. Though a few years ago I switched to a NAS for storage and I use a typical TV instead… now I don’t feel the need to use smaller filesizes. I tend to go with 1080 by default. The NAS is really a godsend… you can fill that thing up with whatever your want and still have room to spare.
I teach at a college - there’s a LOT of resistance from the old school types who want to open the same lessons handed down to them from 25 years ago rather than change the methods and approach learning differently. I was just in a meeting on Monday where one department wanted the administrators to purchase a 3rd party $200k “AI detector” software thinking that would be the solution they needed. They were giddy about it solving their problem once and for all. I sat there face-palming 🤦♂️
