Don’t have any SFW tabs
Well the rest of the world are enjoying the downfall of the empire
Just did a fresh win 11 install . In order to update bios before installing Linux. Refused to let me install without wifi but a quick googling and a command prompt later it was possible to work around easily
You are the one basing your argument on an article from 2008 , not me. You are completely deranged. Now come back with some hard evidence or go shout at the hollow moon in your tinfoil hat.
Your anecdotes are as good as a horoscope. Get real.
I already did multiple times you just refuse to read it like the little bitch troll you are… context matter a lot you are wrong. How often do you say Nike ? More interesting would be “I will buy a pair of new shoes” now shoes can be mentioned in tons of context so you better have a way of separate it.
I have internxt , very rough compared to others but for long term storage it is good. Foss , encrypted and splitted.
No you are wrong. Seems your making things up on the go. More wake words to listen to more battery drain. Fact.
But sure lets play. Now that you used your “wake word counter” what use would that have ? You have ZERO context then. Completely useless .
Seems you don’t, and started your line with a question and continued to do so despite being provided with answers repeatedly . Is there some kink of roleplaying AI dev? You don’t really seem to have done your homework to do so.
Despite what some believe, keyword detection like “Hey Google” is only used to wake up a device from a low power state to perform more powerful listening, it’s not helpful for data tracking. Increasing the number of keywords to thousands or more (which you would need to cover the range of possible ad topics) requires more processing power and therefore defeats the purpose. Your battery would drain very noticeably if your phone was always listening for thousands of possible words.
Litarally all your questions are answered in the link i pointed out twice now. Try it. Hey google doesnt take much 1k wake words a lot more… your math doesnt add up anywhere close to reality.
It would cost trillions and half the battery life. Just because you dont understand something doesnt make you right. Your entire argument is shattered in the link I provided you earlier. Its not a few kb needed and if done locally a huge battery eater. Not to mention that the cost to have any use of it would exceed the entire value of the admarket.
there are plenty of people that can find shit in the noise on wireshark if there was anything like what you are suggesting.
Also there is a teapot in orbit around jupiter. Prove me wrong.
Evidence of voice collection and data transmission. Just hook it up to wireshark and test. It’s been done and zero evidence produced. Not trivial to hide. Neither in traffic or battery use .
Btw independent aricle from 2008 heres something a decade fresher https://www.androidauthority.com/your-phone-is-not-listening-to-you-884028/
Why would they need to do it anyway? Far easier to just use the telemetry already there. Your phone knows more about you than you think already if you don’t use privacy respecting software. No need to use the microphone. But if you know something none from the security field does, I’m all for seeing some evidence.
Which would show up in network traffic , which it doesnt. There is no need for it.
No they dont , they dont have to. Far easier to get things other ways.

Yea a lot have changed in 10 years in the cat and mouse game. GOS is a completely different thing. Want to unlock or unlock bootloader on a Motorola = 2 pages instructions in different xda threads. On a pixel? fastboot oem unlock done. And that’s just because I’m old school , GOS have a webinstaller were I think you don’t even need to touch the terminal.
Battery charging is ofc an issue for main driver , but if you can live with it I’d say it’s ok , no thermal control shouldn’t be an issue at 1 amp . Basically at that you can’t use the phone while charging and expect not to run out of juice.
Volume control yea needs testing I guess. Feels it can be an issue or not
Import? Buy one on ebay?
I know that pmos have a pixel 3a port , have been looking into that a while back but not installed yet. Worth checking out
Understand your worries. I can say that GOS is the gold standard of privacy phones , nothing beats it. Calyx comes in 2nd. A new install of graphene has a browser, pdf viewer sms app and that’s about it. Use as you wish , with secured bootloader and zero google stuff. And I think it’s the easiest install of any , anyone can do it. And 2nd hand phones are available
Was a while since i used mint so might have improved since then, but my recommendation is peppermint , runs on lower specs , just works and comes with the all the basic stuff. Debian based , click to add extra stuff, UEFI supported
