Data analysed by the BBC show that Ukraine’s Western allies have paid Russia more for its hydrocarbons than they have given Ukraine in aid.

    The $73bn number looks suspiciously close to the amount EU countries have given independently without including the amount the EU has given as the EU (just shy of $50bn). It also won’t include the UK, Norway, or Switzerland, the first of which in particular is a large donor due to being a large economy

      No not really, according to EU ONLY counting EU countries, 35% of the €158 are loans, leaving €118 bn in direct aid without the loans.
      IDK why, but for some reason it seems like a propaganda attack piece to make EU look bad, when in fact EU has done more than anybody else to help Ukraine.
      Can we do more? Yes we can, and EU has been working on that too. Already before USA betrayed us, but further extremely escalated after, especially on the long term planning, that requires huge investments now, but won’t show results until years into the future.
