    Republicans have long lied about people not showing up to immigration hearings, and now they’re doing their best to give people a fantastic reason to not show up.

      They’re setting up a situation where if you show up you’ll be arrested and possibly imprisoned for life in some country you’ve never been to, but if you don’t show up they can call you a criminal and arrest you and imprison you for life in some country you’ve never been to.
