How long are we going to ignore this extremely obvious pattern? This seems like a problem indemic to the Republican party. What the fuck is going on?

My grandfather was staunchly Republican. For forever. Eventually became a maga person, he had the hat and everything. He was always at the very least a “bit” racist vocally. Towards the end of trump’s last term something happened that spured him to leaving the maga movement. They cut his VA benefits. He’s still a racist but since it directly affected him, he was against it. This example clearly it directly affects this person’s family, but not the person himself. They make excuses that explain away all the transgressions via religion or “better for country”. It’s more important than ever to remember when he said “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” He doesn’t tell the truth often, but this is a circumstance that I actually believe he did. I don’t know how we got to this point of delusion, but I do think it’s systemic. He’s a result of the disease, not the actual problem. Remember “the sin of empathy”?

      Pedocon theory

Pedocon theory is a theory like gravity is a theory. Women’s subservience is what they believe in: they’ll just tell you. Children’s obedience is what they believe in: they’ll just tell you. Fathers’ right to rule their families is what they believe in: they’ll just tell you. Pedophilia is the natural outcome of all these ideologies: children are the property of men. MAGA has made a religion of patriarchy. In many cases, this toxic vine is wound deeply through their actual religious practices of fundamentalist Christianity. If that is the theory, pedophilia is the practice. The evidence is there, if you’re willing to look.

“If you’re willing to look.” I’ve used such phrases throughout this essay. That is because pedocon theory is a self-censoring fact: something so profoundly uncomfortable to think about that you instead choose not to. You sweep the evidence away, add up one bad apple after another and pretend you do not see.

Republicans get off on cruelty and power directed at those who can’t fight back. Pedophiles get off on cruelty and power directed at those who can’t fight back. Spot the connection.

I never got the whole beat someone who can’t fight back thing, at least at the start of the fight if they started out fighting and are crippled at the end I may keep going. I digress are they all just that weak that they have to go after people who are unwilling or unable to fight, where the fun in that. The best fights I’ve ever had have been against six foot something guys who all without question hurt their fists on my brow ridge.

    LOL, because of course.

The conservatives are the ones that were [1] screaming about kids being trafficked by Hillary and friends out of the basement of a basementless pizza parlor, but this probably all had so much traction with conservative idiots because it’s always projection with this bunch.

    Always.

[1] Some probably STILL are screaming about this. I can think of specific instances of people I saw online that were still quite sure that pizzagate was real, in spite of what the Liberal Media and The Deep State were lying about, naturally, and that because Taco was in office, that The Storm was going to happen at any moment. This was in late 2020, before the election (Tacostein getting elected again would of course fix something that he was unable to fix in his first term, so that’s why you should vote for him in 2020) and very long after the term “pizzagate” was used as a punchline. I could see these people claiming The Storm was going to sweep up Hillary, et al, all throughout the years of 2017-2020.

At this point, due to how the, “every accusation is a confession,” phrase keeps proving itself true, over and over, I genuinely believe that a group of MAGAt Republicans are trafficking children for sex from the basement of a pizza parlor, somewhere. I mean, maybe it’s really a pancake parlor or something, but…

Good Sweet Baby Jesus! I fear you must be correct about this. The bizarre specificity of the accusation which is objectively crazy otherwise screams that GOPers are actually doing this somewhere!

Agreed, and when these dingbats stroke off to fantasies about how “The Storm” is going to take out all the Democrats, I think they are hoping that will distract from the real storm of arrests that should be happening among the conservative population nearly everywhere, and at all levels.

Why would President Joe Biden have done something as terrible as planting child ponography on this man’s computer?

obviously It would be nice if these lawmakers were only accusing people of being “gay or trans” as there is nothing wrong with that.
